To benefit from the advantages of silicone free installation for these products certain installation criteria must be met.
(Silicone free installation cannot be used with raised border tiles or if an upstand tray is used) If these installation criteria are met then silicone sealant should not be required. The doors may be installed conventionally using silicone sealant. Please note that use of hydro massage body jets, if too powerful, can reduce the efficiency of silicone free sealing. All Kinedo self contained shower cubicles are designed to be installed on finished floors and against finished walls. This is in order to allow for removal and repositioning should maintenance be required. They are not designed to be tiled up to either on the wall or floor. All models (except Kinezen) are designed to be erected then slid into final position using washing machine style hoses to facilitate this. Kinezen models are designed to be installed in their final position. All thermostatic shower valves require a minimum 1 bar pressure in order to function correctly. If this cannot be met then a suitable shower booster pump may be required. The shower valves should function correctly if used with a combi boiler or other high pressure system (you may need to check with the manufacturer to determine specific outputs) A minimum of 2.5 bar is required for all hydro systems (including shower columns). A minimum gap of at least 300mm is required above all self contained shower cubicles in order to facilitate the fixing of wall brackets. |
